Our roots go all the way back to 1963, when our facility in Lincoln, Nebraska started producing filament-wound rocket motor cases for NASA.Over the past decades our company has evolved by merging and combining leaders in the alternative fuel space, creating the global provider of clean fuel and gas distribution solutions that Hexagon Agility is today.
2022
Hexagon Agility opens Commercial Center in Munich, Germany to strengthen European footprint. Strategically located close to Europe’s largest auto producers, major European original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and fleet operators.
2021
Agility Fuel Solutions and Hexagon Mobile Pipeline joined forces as Hexagon Agility, strengthening its position as a world leading provider of (renewable) natural gas mobility and distribution solutions.
2019
Hexagon Composites acquires the remaining 50% of Agility Fuel Solutions, offering natural gas, biogas, hydrogen, propane and electrification technology to power a range of industries.
2018
Agility Fuel Solutions and Advantek entered into a strategic alliance to provide compressed natural gas (CNG) products and services to the Indian commercial vehicle market.
2016
Agility Fuel Systems and Hexagon's medium and heavy duty CNG automotive businesses merge to create Agility Fuel Solutions, resulting in Hexagon owning 50% of Agility. The merger is uniquely positioned to drive innovation in the industry, while better serving the global market and expanding its product offerings worldwide.
2015
Agility Fuel Systems opens new 204,000 square foot world class facility in Salisbury, NC demonstrating company's deep commitment to the development and adoption of natural gas as a transportation fuel in the heavy duty vehicle industry.
2014
Agility Fuel Systems and Hexagon Lincoln formed a joint venture, Agility Hexagon, LLC, to leverage combined technical and R&D expertise to better integrate cylinder/system designs and bring to market a new, differentiated cylinder available exclusively on Agility fuel systems.
2011
Installs CNG fuel storage systems on trucks with industry's first 12L Cummins-Westport dedicated natural gas engine.
2010
FAB Industries and EnviroMECH, two leading providers of alternative fuel systems for heavy duty trucks, buses and specialty vehicles merged to form Agility Fuel Systems. Agility Fuel Systems becomes the leading provider of on-vehicle alternative fuel systems to heavy duty commercial vehicle manufacturers, dealers and end-users.
